"Oh No, Otto!" is a video designed for the Department of Public Safety (DPS). It features SU's own Otto the Orange in a series of vignettes designed to teach students how to stay safe on campus. The video is shown to all incoming students during move-in and will reach returning students on OTN, during hall meetings, and on various internet video sites.

Project: Welcome to the World, Baby!

"Welcome to the World, Baby!" was the first in a series of three videos created for the Early Literacy Project, a project to promote parental involvement in reading and literacy skills for children at a young age. This video, produced by the Office for Professional Development and the Children's Institute, Inc., demonstrated ways of making reading available to even the youngest of babies.

Project: "My Classic Life as an Artist: A Portrait..."

"My Classic Life as an Artist: A Portrait of Larry Bissonnette" is a documentary about autistic Vermont artist Larry Bissonnette, produced and directed by Oscar®-nominated producer Douglas Biklen. Shot on location in Burlington, Vermont, the film explores the complexities of communication by going between Bissonnette's speech, typing, and painting, and illustrates a "day in the life" of this witty and insightful artist.

Project: Holidays at Hendricks

"Holidays at Hendricks" is SU's annual holiday concert featuring the Syracuse University Brass Ensemble (SUBE), the Hendricks Chapel Choir, and the Hendricks Chapel Handbell Ringers. It was recorded live on location in historic Hendricks Chapel on Dec. 2, 2007.

This 90-minute program aired on WCNY-TV and was radio simulcast on WCNY-FM Christmas Day 2007 to the entire Central New York community.

The Graduate School at Syracuse University requested a video that would help new faculty deal with problems that may arise. The video features nine staged vignettes, each focusing on a specific situation that may arise in the classroom and academic world. These vignettes are meant to be analyzed and discussed with a facilitator while viewing.

With a different theme each year, 2005 being Humor, the Syracuse Symposium is an intellectual festival that brings prominent speakers to campus and arranges events throughout the year that will relate to and further explore the theme. Here filmmaker and activist Michael Moore speaks before a crowd of 10,000 at the Carrier Dome. The featured clip is a reading of the children's book, "My Pet Goat."
